From Top Hotel Writer to Nationwide Partner
For years, I was the top hotel writer for one of the nation's largest carriers. I built expertise in every aspect of hospitality insurance, from budget motels to luxury properties and from single locations to multi-state operations.
Then the carriers started exiting the hospitality market. One by one, they decided hotels were too risky. But I refused to abandon my hotel clients.
Instead of walking away, I did what few agents are willing to do: I partnered with specialty agencies and brokers across the country. I built relationships with carriers still writing hospitality business. I obtained licenses in 12 states to serve properties nationwide, and we may be able to access options in the other 38 states as well.
Today, we have access to more carriers and more creative solutions than we ever did with a single company. When one carrier says no, we have more markets to approach. When a property has unique challenges, we can structure split-carrier solutions that provide comprehensive protection.
The market got harder. We got better.
